Atiqa Odho is a brilliant Pakistani television and film actor who began her career in the early nineties with the hit dramas like Dasht, Nijaat and Sitara and Mehrunissa. Well, she has also appeared in unlimited hit Pakistani dramas including Besharam, Meri Shehzadi and Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi. Fans loved her in Geo TV’s drama serial Dao in which she played the character of a make-up artist &match maker. Currently, Atiqa Odho is co-hosting Kia Drama Hai with Mukarram Kaleem.
Recently, Atiqa Odho made an appearance in Ahmed Ali’s podcast in which she talked about the recent deteriorating situation of Pakistan.
Talking about it, Atiqa Odho said, “You know, Ahmed, I tear up when I see this country. My kids were born and raised here. I am angry and upset, and I am not going to apologize for it. Nobody has the right to do what they are doing to our country; it’s as basic and simple as that. I have spent a lifetime serving this country. I am just a drop in the ocean, but I have worked for my country in whatever capacity. I have done a lot for this country, in whatever field I worked in. I have served my country. I am 56, and I have been working since I was 18. I am not afraid to share my opinion. Everyone has contributed to the problems this country faces—every influential person, the public, the political elites. Everybody is responsible for where we are now. Not just politicians and the public, but everyone has let us down. Our children, our country, our own people have destroyed this country.” Here is the link to the video:
