Afzal Khan, famously known as Jan Rambo, is one of the most successful Pakistani television and film actors, who once ruled the Pakistani film industry with his iconic comedy roles. He rose to fame as Jan Rambo through the blockbuster television play Guest House. He made his mark in the industry due to his uncanny resemblance to Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone. His popular films include Chor Machay Shor, Munda Bigra Jaey, Hathi Mera Sathi, and many others. Afzal Khan, his wife Sahiba, and their sons have been settled in Karachi for around a year, and they are now actively working in television.

Recently, Afzal Khan appeared on Nadia Khan’s show Rise and Shine via Zoom, where he opened up about the cold behavior of some Karachi drama actors.

Speaking on the topic, Afzal Khan said, “Let me tell you an interesting thing, we have worked with almost everyone in Karachi, all are our friends but surprisingly no one welcomed us except for one or two. Only Asma Abbas welcomed us. Behroze Sabzwari called me personally, and Javeria Saud and Saud Qasmi, who are like family, helped us a lot—they found us a house and helped us settle. Apart from them, no one even reached out or invited us. We are people who enjoy parties and meet-ups, but here, no one is like that, so we party with Javeria and Saud.”

He further added that Sahiba had to close her salon because, when she came to Karachi, she lost her customers and there was no income. When she returned, there was no activity at the salon, so she had to close it. Here is the link to the video:
