Kya Drama Hai is a popular and controversial Pakistani television show that reviews prime-time dramas. The show has been hosted by Mukarram Kaleem, Nadia Khan, Marina Khan, and Atiqa Odho are among the judges, however the judges’ panel is often replaced with other actors like Bushra Ansari, Nadia Jamil, Nadia Afgan, and Arjumand Rahim.
This week, Hina Dilpazeer, Nadia Khan, and Marina Khan were among the judges. The panel criticized the new drama Neeli Kothi, written by Saima Akram Chaudhary, directed by Anjum Shehzad, and produced by Moomal Productions.
During the show, Nadia Khan asked questions about characters’ relationships and plot details which were already addressed in the story. Nadia Khan said that she couldn’t understand Sahiba’s relationship with Usman Pirzada or when Atiqa Odho’s character got married to him. She also questioned Atiqa Odho’s character as a writer. The drama viewers are bashing Nadia Khan and the panelists for their unfair criticism on Neeli Kothi. Besides this, all were of the view that judges came unprepared. One wrote, “It’s time for Nadia Khan to leave the show because she cannot understand any drama.” Another said, “Please judges, watch the drama carefully—they already explained everything in the introduction.” Another fan added, “We viewers are better than you. Each drama and each query is simple, clear, and understandable.” One commented, “For the first time, I found this show ridiculous. Such a clear story is confusing them—how can they judge a show they didn’t even watch?” Another said, “It’s clear they haven’t watched the drama.
