Aap Ki Izzat is a new Hum TV drama that is garnering widespread critical and public acclaim, even after the airing of its first two episodes. Together, the episodes have amassed over 7 million views, while the drama has also delivered remarkable TRP ratings. The drama is written by Umera Ahmed, produced by Nina Kashif and Momina Duraid, and directed by Saifee Hassan. The cast features Ahsan Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Urwa Hocane, Sania Saeed, and Nauman Masood.
Recently, Ahsan Khan, who plays the lead character, Tabish, in Aap Ki Izzat, revealed why he chose the script and what makes the drama so special.
Ahsan Khan said, “The main reason I signed Aap Ki Izzat was the incredible team behind it. The director, Saifee Hassan, the producers Nina Kashif and Momina Duraid, the writer Umera Ahmed, and my co-stars Sania Saeed, Nauman Masood, Saif Ali Khan, and Urwa Hocane—everyone involved was perfect. What more could you ask for? Then there was my character, who evolves from a younger version of himself into a mature man. I loved the way the character developed. The way this family grows and the way even the smallest emotions are explored in detail make the story truly special. The script caters to every emotion. I believe it is the story of every household because there is something everyone can relate to. I truly loved being part of this project. I remember there was a delay in the production, and apart from doing Zanjeerain during that period, I didn’t take on anything else because I was waiting for this drama.” Watch here:
