Today, the court has announced the verdict in Ali Zafar’s defamation case against Meesha Shafi after 8 years. Ali Zafar has won the case, and the court has fined Meesha Shafi for allegedly defaming him.


According to the details, the sessions court ordered singer Meesha Shafi to pay Ali Zafar Rs5 million in damages. On Monday, the sessions court concluded the hearing of the defamation case, which was filed in 2018 by Ali Zafar, who had said that the allegations of sexual harassment by Meesha Shafi tarnished his public image and caused his family agony and pain. He asked the court to issue a decree against Meesha and direct her to pay Rs1 billion in damages. However, the court fined Meesha Shafi Rs5 million. The details of the verdict will be shared soon.
