The story of the drama series revolves around a loving couple in which the husband changes over time after becoming wealthy. The central theme of the story focuses on Tabish ridiculing his wife of 14 years, Bina, and criticizing how her appearance has changed over time. The drama gained widespread popularity for the scenes in which Tabish fat-shames his wife and questions her credibility as a housewife.

Aap ki Izzat’s recent scenes where Bina confronts her husband for being a narcissistic husband are going viral and are being shared by millions of users on social media.
