A photographer shared a series of pictures and Arshad was the one who won everyone due to his unique features and piercing blue eyes. He has since done modelling, appeared in music videos and started his own cafe business. He grew a lot in his career and became financially stable.
Arshad Chaiwala has gotten himself into huge legal trouble. His CNIC and passport have been blocked by the authorities. What went down was that he was asked for citizenship proof by the authorities amidst the on-going crackdown on Afghan refugees in Pakistan. Consequently, his CNIC and passport were blocked. Arshad Chaiwala has challenged this move in Lahore High Court.
Arshad Chaiwala has asserted in court that NADRA asking for pre-1978 citizenship proof for him and his family is malafide and his family is documented. The court has ordered NADRA to hold a hearing and decide on Arshad’s claim in one month.
