Azekah Daniel is a Pakistani television actress who has emerged to prominence over the past few years. She is famously known for her characters in the drama serial “Cheekh” and “Malaal-e-Yaar”. She is currently starring in “Dunk”. Azekah Daniel belongs to a Christian family and in a recent interview, she shared her experiences of belonging to a group of religious minorities in Pakistan.
“I think it doesn’t make much difference, for those it matters they make it obvious but it’s not such a big deal I guess. Now, what’s in the hearts of people is not obvious but there isn’t any open discrimination as such”. Taking about the discrimination she said: “You keep on getting in such situations. The industry itself is very liberal, but I have to face discrimination in other matters, which is okay I guess because you have to face it anywhere if you are a minority. You just accept it and live with it and not make any big issue out of it because this is how the world runs” said Azekah.
When the host asked that whether she is talking about her fans Azekah said: “Yes some of my fans but they wouldn’t be my fans, they are just there to troll and bash. Fans really love me I love my fan”
