“Beat me” the video by United Nations for women in Pakistan, in which women are speaking up against gender based violence, and inviting men to beat them, but only at things they are best at, is trending all over Pakistan.
We can see Momina Mustehsan, Meesha Shafi, Sana Bucha, Sarwart Gillani and Samina Baig with many other prominent women in Pakistan challenging men to beat them with their voice, their words, on top of the mountains, on the grounds, in the fields.
The video sets to break patriarchal ideologies of Pakistani society and shatters the perception that women are feeble and weak.
