Since the coronavirus has affected the entire world and causes casulaties without differentiating in caste or color, people are becoming united against the pandemic to overcome it.
Pakistan too, is in its race to find a cure for coronavirus and save thousands of its affected population. To help Pakistan in its war against corona, boxer Amir Khan has pledged to donate Rs40 million. According to Amir Khan, the money will be used for the welfare of the poor during the lockdown in Pakistan because of the rapid spread of coronavirus.
Amir Khan Foundation will make sure to distribute ration and other necessary things among the poor in Pakistan.
And not only that, because of the shortage of quarantine centers in Pakistan, Amir has also offered to use his boxing academy in Islamabad as a centre.
“I want to help the government of Pakistan as they assist the patients affected by coronavirus,” he said stating,the gymnasium of his boxing academy could serve as perfect quarantine for corona infected patients.
Earlier, the 33 year old British-Pakistani boxer Amir offered his private property to Britain’s National Health Service to facilitate corona infected patients.
