PIMS Hospital tragedy shocked the nation. 15 babies were burnt alive in the nursery and 15 families lost their children. Only one lucky baby survived this painful tragedy as her aunt was present there. She is the only child who made it out of the hospital alive.
PIMS staff had fled the nursery as shared by this brave woman but she stayed and went in to rescue her niece. Her hair and skin burnt a little bit she was able to run out. Meanwhile the only male doctor there ran to save his life while no other staff member was present. She was also directed to call a male attendant but she jumped in and managed to rescue her baby girl.
