PIMS Hospital tragedy has shocked the nation once again. A hospital with a budget of 10 billion rupees annually did not even have basic cylinders or fire hydrants near it. 15 newborn babies were burnt alive after an AC compressor malfunctioned. Mothers with C-sections were sitting on floors to find their baby’s body. The scenes was horrific and it affected every mother who witnessed it.
Lile all mothers of our nation, celebrity mothers were also affected. A woman who has felt the pain of motherhood understood what the mothers of PIMS tragedy were going through. Sadia Imam, Javeria Saud, Sawera Pasha and Meher Bokhari all spoke about the unbelievable pain of losing a child.
Sadia Imam questioned if there will be any justice. Sawera tried to contain her emotions but ended up breaking down in front of camera. Javeria Saud has also lost faith in a system where negligence killed 15 babies. Meher Bokhari asks authorities to take their own children to the same PIMS for treatment from now on.
