It is indeed a sad day in the history of Pakistani cinema. Veteran actress Sabiha Khanum passed away at the age of 84, after being ill for quite some time now.
Sabiha Khanum was one of Pakistan’s foremost leading film actresses and will be remembered as the First Lady of Pakistan’s silver screen.
According to the family sources the actress was suffering from renal disease.
Pakistani TV and film industry mourns the loss of an asset to the media industry. Celebrities have been been pouring in condolences, praying for the departed soul to rest in peace.
