Danish Nawaz shared that he has not been directing Ramadan dramas due to spiritual reasons. He was the man behind hits like Chupke Chupke and Hum Tum. He said that he feels Ramadan is a spiritual month but shooting a Ramadan drama takes up your whole day. He was able to fast but he was not able to perform his prayers as much. Thus he has stopped directing Ramadan dramas.

Danish Nawaz also shared his experience of shooting Sanwal Yaar Piya during the Indo-Pak war. He shared that it was a unique experience. The war was going on and he was shooting a drama. Everyone had their worries especially Durefishan Saleem who was shooting in Karachi while her family was in Lahore. Drones were falling in Lahore and she was worried. But they continued their work and now the drama is airing.
