The Dua Zehra case shook the nation when it happened. A minor girl went missing from her Karachi home and appeared in Lahore where she declared that she had gotten married to a guy named Zaheer. They appeared in the media and sold this marriage to be legitimate. They even gave an interview to a lady YouTuber. The case however, started running and the marriage came into question.
Dua Zehra’s parents went on to fight for her and they wanted to take her back. He went through the case for months and finally got his daughter back. She is now living with her parents and focusing on her studies and life. A new verdict in her marriage case has now been announced about her marriage with Zaheer.
A family court in Karachi has ruled that Dua Zehra and Zaheer’s marriage is legitimate and the marriage certificate is not fake. They were also instructed to go through proper channels to annul this marriage. Previously the girl was handed to her parents who have been taking care of her.
