Weddings in Pakistan are nothing short of festivals with a lot of colours, love and happiness intertwined in commonly a three-day event. Celebrity weddings on the other hand have a special charm with millions of their fans waiting for the bride and groom to reveal their looks and share their first glimpse as husband and wife. But weddings also come with a lot of stress and fights and one department where we always see arguments is photography. Many family members are seen arguing with photographers and there are always instances when brides or grooms who had decided on photography packages get busy while family members come up with a totally different vision. Saba Sahar from ssphotography on Instagram also shared some untold stories from celebrity weddings she has covered.
She was asked about the controversy that happened on Ushna Shah’s wedding when she called out certain people on sharing her family’s pictures and she even went off social media after heated arguments. Saba said that celebrities almost always say not to share pictures of their family members. She clarified that when it is a part of the contract, leaking pictures of the couple’s family is inappropriate and unacceptable.
She then shared that she herself was the official photographer for Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain’s wedding. She revealed that Yasir had signed a contract with her 6 months before the wedding and he had asked not to share pictures of any family member. Yasir had allowed the photographer to share as many pictures of him and Iqra as they want but not of the family unless they give permission.
