Durefishan Saleem is right now in a great phase of her career. Many comedians in Pakistan have gone and worked in India performing in several shows and films. We also had Naseem Vicky working in The Kapil Sharma Show. That show went on to become a phenomenon and Kapil Sharma became a successful show host after doing stand up comedy for many years. His show is used by all the Bollywood A-listers to promote their films. From veteran artists to stars like Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone have all been on The Kapil Sharma Show for one project or another. Pakistani artists Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Momal Sheikh have also been a part of the show.

Reportedly, the second drama of Geo Television will feature the famous Dam Mastam pair Amar Khan and Imran Ashraf. Amar Khan said that she wrote the script of the drama and the drama would have the strong flavour of Punjab. Amar said that she was taken onboard for the lead role as well. The title of the drama would probably be “Janjal Pura”, it is to be remembered that Janjal Pura was a popular Pakistani drama of the past featuring Sawera Nadeem & Mahmood Aslam. Unfortunately, the team didn’t post any teaser or poster of the drama. Asad Qureshi and Abdullah Kadwani would be the producers of the show and it will be a 7th Sky Entertainment presentation.
