Khalil ur Rehman Qamar started a beef with Mahira Khan after she criticized him on his fight with Marvi Sirmed. She tweeted against him and he started a fight with her. They had worked in Sadqay Tumharay before which was a successful collaboration but Khalil swore to never forgive Mahira Khan for her harsh words. He is still stating that he will not forgive her but she will allegedly do a film titled Mirza Jutt written by KRQ opposite Humayun Saeed.

The controversial run of Khalil ur Rehman Qamar started on television when he fought with Marvi Sirmed live during a show. They both called each other names and thus started a tirade of the star writer on good women and bad women. He has been asked about Marvi several times over the years and they are still in a state of war and he always condemns her and her opinions.

Haissam Hussain is one of the best directors in Pakistan. The brain behind a phenomenal show like Jo Bichar Gaye, he collaborated with Humayun Saeed and Khalil ur Rehman Qamar in Gentleman. Khalil ended up getting into the war zone again as he disliked how Gentleman was made despite the show doing well on viewership meters. He started criticizing Haissam Hussain and said the director destroyed his writing. He also vowed to never work with him again.

Adnan Malik played Khalil ur Rehman Qamar’s character in the drama Sadqay Tumharay. The drama was a big hit and it is considered a modern classic by many. The actor-writer duo had a falling out mainly due to their views on women’s issues. Khalil ended up calling Adnan sexual slurs and Adnan ended up becoming another name on KRQ hit list.
Sonya Hussyn
Sonya Hussyn is another one who came under fire for her comments on Khalil ur Rehman Qamar’s script. She had revealed that she was once offered a role in the blockbuster Mere Paas Tum Ho but she did not agree with the philosophy and turned it down. The writer was not happy with this and ended up saying that Sonya Hussyn is not an actress of the caliber that can work in his scripts.

He said that Saba Qamar could never work in any of his projects because of the way she dresses though he admitted that she is a great talent.
