Qarz e Jaan is a Hum TV’s prime time drama serial which is written by Rabia Razzaque. The drama is directed by talented Pakistani director Saqib Khan. The drama is presented by Momina Duraid Productions. The story of this upcoming drama revolves around a young and brave lawyer Nashwa, played by the super talented Yumna Zaidi. The cast also includes Usama Khan, Nameer Khan, Deepak Perwani, Sakina Samoo and others.
So far, five episodes of Qarz e Jaan have been aired on Hum TV. The recent episode of the drama is getting severe public backlash for the portrayal of Barsi scene. Fans are of the view that the Barsi scene in the drama could have been shown in a better way:
Fans are criticizing the Barsi scene and have pointed out multiple mistakes in it. Many said that they have shown a Quran Khuwani gathering where people are reciting the Quran but many others are sitting on the sofas which is considered to be disrespectful. A few also criticized the people who are talking during the Quran Khuwani. People also said that Deepak Perwani could have shown without holding Quran because he is not Muslim. A social media user wrote, “Nashwa came from the court and just started reciting Quran without doing ablution”.
