Pakistani actress Naila Jaffery who is battling last stage cancer has refused to take government‘s aid in a protest against the secret meeting of PM Nawaz with Indian businessman. The actress had applied for Rs 0.5 million from President Mamnoon Hussain’s Artist Welfare Fund but refused to accept it.
Hamza Ali Abbasi, who is known for sharing his thoughts on social media, took to Facebook to praise Naila Jaffri’s patriotism.
Naila rejected the money and said, “I cannot accept a dime from the government that entertains people from the very country that has been plotting against us, our interests and our people.”
