Firdous Jamal is a huge name of Pakistani drama industry. He is a veteran of the industry giving consistent strong performances since the golden PTV era. There are countless projects to his credit and he is counted among a few stars from the older lot who have maintained their stardom throughout. His performance in Pyare Afzal was largely applauded in the recent years.
Firdous Jamal’s son Hamza Firdous also joined the industry and was a part of several projects including O Rangreza. He however, quit the drama industry after his father was banned by MD Productions and was not supported by anyone in the industry when he passed remarks on Mahira Khan.
Recently at Ahmed Ali Butt’s show Super Over, Waseem Abbas was a guest and he was asked about Firdous Jamal to which he replied in a witty manner that no one in the industry or in the whole country is senior to Firdous Jamal.
