Hareem Farooq was a guest on Hasna Mana Hai and she spoke about how she accepted to play Osman Khalid Butt’s mother in Diyar e Dil who is her own age. Diyar e Dil is a classic and each character in that show ended up becoming iconic. People loved Hareem’s character too and she is still remembered for that drama.
Hareem revealed that people told her in the industry to not take up Osman Khalid Butt’s mother’s role. They said that you are doing lead characters and this role will wash all that stardom away for you. She was warned that her standing will get affected.
