PTV has produced many legends in the fields of acting, direction, writing and singing to name a few. Afshan Ahmed is one such senior with a beautiful voice who managed to win everyone’s hearts as she started working on PTV as a child artist. Afshan Ahmed has appeared on children’s programs and later on hosted music shows on PTV. She is well-known for her songs Dosti Aisa Naata and Meray Bachpan Kay Din.

Afshan was a guest on Shan e Suhoor and she talked about her personal life for the first time. She revealed that back in those days when she was working, people were always skeptical about people working in showbiz and did not like the field. She also revealed for the first time that she has been married twice. She got divorced after 20 years of her first marriage. Now, she is married to a very nice person and the couple has been together for 13 years.

Afshan Ahmed also shared that she has always prioritized her housework over her career. She said that as showbiz was never her bread and butter thus she never prioritized that. She was also teaching and that has been her constant profession. She does her house chores and cooks herself as that is how she likes to keep things.
