Haris is a star in league cricket as well with a big name in PSL’s Lahore Qalandars.
Haris Rauf talked to ESPN where he shared his whole story and how he struggled financially in his career and life. He shared that his father was a welder and his income was only enough to manage daily food expenses of the household. Haris’s mother always dreamed of having their own house but it was a far-fetched dream back then.

He also revealed that he started playing tape-ball as it used to pay a good 2 lakh to 2.5 lakhs per month but he knew that tape-ball has no long term future. He also used to work in a market in Rawalpindi to meet the expenses. He used to save some money for investment while he used to give the other to his mom.

Haris also shared that when he bought an expensive car and brought it home, his father started crying that this was above his status to even sit in such a luxurious car. His father was so happy with how his son has taken care of the whole family.
