Hina Afridi is a renowned Pakistani model and television actor who rose to fame through her hit dramas Pehli Si Mohabbat, Akhara, Kacha Dhaaga, Raaja Rani, and others. While giving an interview to Sunday Times, Hina Afridi revealed that she has recently refused multiple popular drama offers in her career.
Talking about it, Hina Afridi said, “Raja Raani is an empowering role. In Pakistan, most roles are of crying women, but when I got Raja Raani, I had many other scripts with me and had to choose one. I had Iqtidar, Behroopia, and another which I can’t remember the name of. I turned down Iqtidar and Behroopia and picked Raja Raani because Raani was a brave character—she was even hitting others. I can’t do that ‘bechari’ character. The best option was Raja Raani.” Here is the link to the video:
She further added, “Had I not been picky about the scripts, you would have spotted me in almost every drama series over the past four years. I didn’t refuse dramas only—I consider many other factors like script, director, production, etc. I know people will laugh at me saying I don’t have time, but I do my chores.” Watch here:
