Jawad Ahmed is a popular Pakistani singer from the nineties who is currently active in politics. The former singer is frequently found gossiping about famous politicians, his colleagues, and other stars. While many dislike his controversial stances, he continues to make provocative statements about his peers.

Recently, Jawad Ahmed appeared on an RNN news show hosted by Naeem Hanif, where he labeled Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan as “greedy.”

Talking about ace singers, Jawad Ahmed said, “I have left this work; I have sacrificed this work because of my political career, but I don’t earn through music. I have no greed, but I don’t know why these artists are so greedy for money. It’s a market where you have to be available for your fans. We were hit artists; we have sold record-breaking cassettes— even Indians used to be shocked at our record sales. We used to sing in the villages for free. I only demanded the event organisers produce lesson-oriented songs. If they want me to perform free, I would like them to say to reduce their charges and make them available for the fans who made them stars. Their market is weddings and the corporate sector; they only sing for elites. It’s not a good practice for the singers.” Here is the link to the video:
