Iftikhar Ahmed Usmani is a very talented actor and writer. He has written many ht dramas including Nagin. He performed the super popular character Kamali in Parizaad and nowadays we are seeing him as the dangerous Raja Plustar in Jeevan Nagar. talking to Hafiz Ahmed on his podcast, he revealed how difficult working in showbiz really is.
He said that he left acting which was bis passion due to financial struggles and started writing. It was writing that helped him pay his bills. He earned 1 crore 11 lakh rupees for writing around 250 episodes of Nagin. He was not able to afford an AC for his wife who came from a well-off family. It took him 10 years before he got her an AC. He also revealed that he mostly never gets offered any characters, its not like he is super choosy.
