Independence Day 2026 is here and big celebrations were planned at government level to mark the occasion. The Government of Punjab planned a celebration at Liberty Chowk Lahore with lighting, decoration and professional artists were invited. The event was held but what followed was pure chaos.

After well-organized celebrations for Independence Day at Liberty Chowk, the gathered crowd went wild. There were only men and no women or families spotted. They were swinging on structures and hiting each other with bottles. The chaos looked tacky and unfortunate.

The internet is horrified by this bad behaviour. One person wrote, “This is bheed not qom.” Another added, “This country needs a new nation.” One went, “This is so unfortunate to see. And then we blame the system.” Check out the reaction:
