Independence Day 2026 is here and Pakistanis started celebrating 14th August from midnight. This year is also very difficult for nation economically and security wise. The ever increasing prices of commodities, Kashmir and Balochistan bleeding, so many of our soldiers having lost their lives and much more has been on the nation’s minds.
Pakistani celebrities like other citizens have also been feeling very cynical. From law and order situation which is deteriorating to painful violence against children cases, many stars are not fully feeling the Azadi spirit and they made it known through their sad and sombre messages on Independence Day.
Zara Noor Abbas shared how she has complaints with her country but the older generation’s sacrifices need to be celebrated. Sonya Hussyn urged people to stand up on this independence day.
