Iqrar Ul Hassan Syed is a former Pakistani anchor, host, and crime reporter, widely known for his investigative show Sar-e-Aam. Besides this, Iqrar Ul Hassan is also recognized for Shaan-e-Ramzan and other live television transmissions. In April 2026, Iqrar Ul Hassan left television and joined politics by forming his party, Awam Raaj Tehreek. Since then, he has been away from television and revealed that he has no plans of coming back.

Recently, Iqrar Ul Hassan appeared on Daily Pakistan’s podcast where he revealed that he regrets exposing criminals on Sar-e-Aam.

To the host’s question, “Sar-e-Aam, if offered again, will you do it?” Iqrar Ul Hassan said, “No, I am happy that Allah has freed me from this burden. I always used to think that the people we are exposing aren’t that big of culprits who deserve to be exposed in front of the whole of Pakistan. Even if someone has bribed or done any other wrongdoing, making a program on it and showing it to people was not the right thing. I am satisfied now that I’m not doing such a program anymore. It is kind of a regret, I think. Their sins were not that big for a punishment like being exposed on national television.” Here is the link to the video:
