Asma Abbas is a senior Pakistani television artist known for her excellent acting performances in hits like Dumpukht, GT Road, Akbari Asghari, Khumaar, Daldal, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Chupke Chupke, Chaudhary and Sons, Radd, Mann Jogi, Baby Baji Ki Bahuwain, and Dastak. She also hostsled the comedy Punjabi show Punjabi Kuriyaan. The senior actor is also known for her regular digital content creation. Recently, she received praise for her acting in Muamma.
Asma Abbas is now running a clothing brand Asma Abbas designs and she often launches her new collection in Lahore. Her previous collection was massively trolled for the tacky cuts, bright colours and poor designs.

Social media users are once again trolling Asma Abbas’s latest collection and are coming up with harsh commentary. One wrote, “All designers should just eat detergent powder.” Another wrote, “Ma’am, you have turned an ajrak bedsheet into a kurta.” One expressed angrily, “Why does this auntie have such a passion for embarrassing herself? Who wears clothes like these? Many unknown designers are making much better clothes than her. She travels around the world and lives in a city like Lahore, yet she doesn’t look at her surroundings to see how stylish clothes are being made these days. And her daughter’s confidence is something else—her daughter wears Western clothes.
