Iqrar ul Hassan and his team were recently targeted by IB officials when they exposed the corruption of an officer. The team was tortured, they sustained fractures and injuries. One of Iqrar’s team mates is also scheduled for surgery while he himself has a dislocated shoulder, a fractured rib and head injuries.
His second wife who also hosts an current affairs show Farah Iqrar got emotional while speaking about the brutality of attack. She said that she has always seen Iqrar working and caring for his country and this brutal attack is heinous. She further said Iqrar’s heart is in Pakistan and he has never thought about moving away from the country where he is doing a dangerous job.
