Recently, Ambreen Fatima interviewed Irfan Khoosat with whom he shared his opinion about Firdous Jamal.
Talking about his colleague, Irfan Khoosat said, “The only assessment that truly matters is the one you make of yourself. However, if someone overestimates himself and thinks too highly, it can become a drawback. Firdous Jamal is a brilliant and hardworking artist, but I think he has been struggling with depression. A man can become bitter if he lives alone. I advised him with love that we do not have the right to judge the fellow actors like the actors working in the industry have something special—otherwise, they wouldn’t be there, just as you are an excellent actor. If the young actors are respectful toward us, that’s good; if not, it’s okay. We should not be bitter about it. We can’t impose ourselves on them. I also believe that anchors often ask such questions deliberately to create content.”
