Recently, Akif Ilyas gave an interview to Nadia Khan for Rise and Shine. In his interview, Akif revealed that Jab We Met’s Geet was inspired by Ankahi’s Sana, played by Shehnaz Sheikh.
Talking about it, he said, “I am doing a big reveal today. There was a film, Jab We Met. I did a film for their production company. It’s a big production house, so when I was working with them, while talking to the producers, I just watched Ankahi. Then I watched Jab We Met and again watched Ankahi. Till date, I can confirm that it was inspired by Ankahi’s Sana, played by Shehnaz Sheikh. You all should come and comment under this post and tell if it was a copy.
