Afshan Khan is a young Pakistani singer, voice-over artist, and actress. She has sung many songs, including the Aik Bhool OST. Recently, Afshan Khan appeared on Rise and Shine, hosted by Nadia Khan. In the show, she opened up about how Aap Ki Izzat changed her career trajectory.
Talking about it, Afshan Khan said, “It has definitely changed my life as I am getting an overwhelming response not only from Pakistan but from across the world, and people sent me voice notes in which they were literally crying. I was surprised to see the public reaction. I couldn’t believe I performed it this well, and now I have set goals for my career. Saifee Bhai told me, ‘You just have to cry, cry and cry,’ and I did the same. I got into character, and it happened naturally. Yes, I remembered the dialogues as per the instructions.”
She further added, “I am getting offers, and I have been selective. I want to do meaningful characters. I am choosy and believe in doing quality work. I don’t believe in quantity, and I will be looking forward to doing lead roles too, InshaAllah.”
