The Joota Chupai ritual video ignited heavy public criticism. Social media users said that it’s so disrespectful to the groom. A lot of people wrote that the bride’s family is illiterate, greedy and rude. They said that the groom’s family is bearing this disrespect with grace but if they would have reacted, the things would have been difficult for the girl.
