He has also starred in Hum TV’s new soap serial Daam-e-Mohabbat, which airs daily on Hum TV at 7:00 pm. Abdullah is now getting opportunities in mainstream media, but he has a tough struggle behind his journey.

Today, Abdullah Khan Niazi appeared on Good Morning Pakistan. During the show, he discussed his struggle and his entry into the media industry.

While sharing his struggle story, Abdullah narrated an incident, saying, “I went to Karachi on a lift. Those were lockdown days and Eid holidays. I got a call from Karachi for a role, and they asked me to reach as soon as possible for the shooting because it would start soon after Eid. I planned the journey. I went to the station with my friend, then to the bus terminal where I got a ride. I came to Multan via a local bus, after which I took a lift and reached Hyderabad at midnight. After that, I called the production, who told me, “We have cast another person and the shoot has started. It wasn’t a suitable role for you. I will give you some other work.” I said okay. I then ate something because I had not eaten anything for 36 hours.”
He further added, “I started acting at the age of 16 from PTV in Islamabad and then I came to Karachi in 2019. I just packed my bag and came to Karachi because my family members scolded me so much all the time as I never used to work and earn. I never did anything with consistency. I had to come to Karachi because I would get so many taunts from my family. Now, after seeing me on television they want me to become star, now I have their support. I have been struggling for so long.”
While talking about hardships, Abdullah said, “I was a PTV artist, so I straightaway went to ARY’s office for work because I was a PTV artist who thought all the productions would be sitting under one roof. When I got in, they sent me back, saying, “Go to production houses because dramas are given by production companies.” I visited channels for around 1.5 years and didn’t get any work. It was Big Bang Production that gave me a chance.”
Talking about a fan moment, Abdullah said, “Recently, I had a fan moment in Bahawalpur, where a Punjabi aunty recognized me. In fact, her daughter told her about me. She then asked, “Do you come in dramas? Are you Zeba’s brother? You grew up so early. In the drama, you were looking young.”
