Dar e Nijaat is a hit ARY Digital drama series written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Saqib Khan. Produced under Six Sigma Plus (or Next Level Entertainment), the show stars Sheheryar Munawar, Dur-e-Fishan Saleem, and Nameer Nawaz Khan in key roles. The story focuses on Zaryab, Zamil, and Abu Bakar as they navigate moral dilemmas, redemption, and human vulnerabilities.
Dar-e-Nijaat is gaining massive popularity, with the character of Abu Bakar standing out in particular. Fans have been making reels, claiming that men like Abu Bakar only exist in dramas since no one saves women in real life. Amidst this ongoing debate, a social media user has claimed to be the real-life inspiration behind Abu Bakar’s character.
Faraz Waqar, a Facebook user, wrote in a post:
”So glad people are loving my biography in Pakistan and around the world. They changed my name to Abu Bakr in the drama Dar e Nijaat to protect my privacy. Forever grateful to friends, family, and complete strangers for all the love pouring in. And a special thank you to Umera Ahmed for bringing my personality to the screen so beautifully.”
The netizen claiming to be real life Abu Bakar is being trolled on his official account. One user commented, “Lol, I remember receiving a prank call back when Humsafar was airing where the guy claimed to be Asher.” Another user quipped, “But Umera Ahmed told me you were actually the inspiration behind Zamil; someone even said you look like his dad, and Abu Bakar’s dad was a bad man.” A third user remarked, “This happens when you post after consuming weed,” while another pointed out the irony, stating, “They changed your name in the drama to protect your privacy, and then you ended up exposing yourself anyway!” Read the comments:
