Mann Jogi is directed by Kashif Nisar and written by Zafar Mairaj. The drama is making strides and it has brought the OG, PTV stylesque story-telling back to our screens. Mann Jogi is hitting hard on nerves and it is not shying away from speaking about some really dark concepts that are avoided in society. Episode 4 concentrated on how minorities are treated in Pakistan and the pain they have endured while living in their own independent country.
Aliya and Ibrahim were rescued by Yousuf and Maryam, a Christian couple who think of Aliya as their own daughter as Aliya’s father gave his life while protecting the church. The way mob lynching was dealt sensitively and still showing how harrowing it is, is commendable. People are loving the interreligious harmony shown in the drama as humanity is what actually should always win.
