Marina Khan is one of Pakistan’s most celebrated senior actors. She is also known for her direction. The actor rose to fame in the 1980s with her iconic roles in classic PTV dramas such as Tanhaiyaan, Dhoop Kinare, and Nijaat. Her other notable dramas are Dilruba, Aulad, Yahya, Bandish and others. Fans also loved her direction in the dramas serial Dastak. She is currently judging Pakistani actors’ acting in TV review show Kya Drama Hai.

Recently, Marina Khan criticized Talha Chahour for his Punjabi accent in the drama Jama Taqseem during the TV review show Kya Drama Hai, saying that his Punjabi dialect is evident in his speech.


Talking about it, Marina Khan said, “Talha has to be very careful now because his Punjabi accent was quite strong this time. I mean, it could be felt in his dialogues when he was talking to Laila in anger and emotions because that’s when he has lost control over his Urdu accent. He should avoid speaking in Punjabi style especially when the makers have shown an Urdu speaking family.
