We all have seen #Osmaya trending on social media which is for the celebrity duo Osman Khalid Butt and Maya Ali.
They have been close friends and due to their closeness with each other, there were many rumours about their relationship and even marriage.
However, Osman Khalid Butt and Maya Ali were just great friends as they have worked together in many drama serials including; Diyar-e-Dil, Aunn Zara, Sanam and Aik Nayee Cindrella.
Recently, Maya Ali talked about popular hashtag #Osmaya which was quite popular on social media.
She said, “It feels great but when this hashtag started we didn’t know what a hashtag is. In starting Osman used to say that they write the wrong spelling of my name from Osman to Osmaya.”
“For a long period of time, we didn’t know what Osmaya is. After a lot of time, we came to know about this maybe after Diyare-e-Dil that this is a combination of name Maya and Osman.”
Maya Ali further said, “You believe me we got so much love and people even thought that we got married but we clarified that we are just good friends.”
“It’s not important if you are good friends with someone you must get married to them,” Maya Ali added.
Maya Ali talked about working with Osman Khalid Butt and said, “I have a great understanding with Osman and we love each other as friends. Still, we want to work together and we received some scripts but Obi said, ‘no Maya we will work together when we receive good scripts’.”
