Meera, in her recent interview with a renowned journalist Maliha Rehman, has opened up about the mishaps she had to go through as an actor. Talking about a recent project that she didn’t, she said, “I had been in talks with Barkat Siddiqui for a drama for HUM TV,” said the Baaji actress. “We had discussed the character at length and in my mind, I had sorted out dates and scheduling. For one month, we went back and forth with discussions and then, suddenly, Barkat Siddiqui told me that the channel didn’t want me on board. If they didn’t want to cast me, why did they waste so much of my time?”
She further said that do these channels want the actors to get crazy and commit suicide.
Talking about signing the contract for Hum Tv drama Lekin, she said that they didn’t sign the contract but the director discussed the script and each and everything with her in detail and ended up telling her that she’s not fit for role or channel didn’t want her on board.
She further said that it has happened alot , perviously she was not given a Ramadan show, she said that Baaji came to her when she was helpless ,it went successful but after the pandemic the films got halted.
She further said that she is stuck in a hopeless situation as her PR team is also not giving her access to her accounts too. She said that she is feeling mad right now.
The shooting for Hum TV’s drama Lakin is going on in which Alizeh Shah will be seen as main lead.
