When Mehwish Hayat said she wanted to branch out in all aspects of arts, the woman really meant it. An accomplished actress of Pakistan, Mehwish Hayat has definitely made a spot for herself in music as well. Having featured in Coke Studio and sung for OSTs alongside live concerts in the US and in Pakistan, Mehwish Hayat has definitely tapped into singing like a professional singer.
Recently, Hayat took to her Instagram to share a video of herself and her brother Zeeshan Hayat jamming to Charlie Puth’s song Attention, and trust us, Mehwish did grab all the attention that she deserved. Although she’s casual, her notes strike the right chords and she’s in tune with the guitar notes being strummed by Zeeshan Hayat.
“Growing up in a musical family has its own perks, since childhood us siblings would sit in the patio and sing for hours. Still doing it whenever we get the chance – even when it is drizzling – and long may it continue. (Ameen),” wrote Mehwish on her Instagram.
Mehwish had earlier posted a video of another jam session with Zeeshan, singing one of her brother’s original tracks, Hogaya Tumse Pyar, a beautiful composition indeed.
