Mikaal Zulfiqar is a superstar of Pakistani drama industry. He is one of the biggest A-listers in the industry with multiple hits under his belt. Mikaal Zulfiqar was married to Sara Bhatti and they are parents to two beautiful girls. Mikaal and Sara got divorced in 2017 and it was a very public incident.
Sara joined the industry post-divorce and we have seen her perform in dramas. Mikaal is always seen sharing pictures and spending time with his daughters but he has never really spoken about the split. In an interview with Images, Mikaal opened up about reasons behind is divorce.
Mikaal shared that working in the industry does take a toll on your relationship. Mikaal shared that working away from home for long spans and off-screen link ups by people of on-screen successful couples is a burden on marriage.
Mikaal said:
“Yes, it does and it can place a big burden on the marriage. In my marriage, I had certainly felt the pressure to clarify things with my wife. I would feel bad for her. The nature of this work can lead to your spouse making assumptions even if there is no truth to them at all.”
Mikaal Zulfiqar further said that he is not ready for marriage again as he is still very scared. These are his thoughts on remarrying:
“I am still scarred and scared but I am open to the idea. I don’t think about it all the time, though. I am very busy with work and I have my girls.”
Mikaal is concentrating on his career right now with acting, managing his business and starting productions alongside focusing on his daughters.
