Mishi Khan is a seasoned Pakistani television and film actress, host, and social activist, known for her versatile performances in hit dramas such as Ajaib Khana, Tipu Sultan, Saat Pardon Mein, Khala Khairan, Landa Bazaar, and Uroosa. Uroosa was her breakthrough TV show that brought her stardom. Currently, Mishi Khan hosts one of the longest-running morning shows on K2 TV. She is also a vocal celebrity who speaks out against insensitive and careless behavior by other public figures.

Recently, Mishi Khan shared a video on her Instagram in which she condemned Talha Anjum’s explanation for waving the Indian flag during his concert in Nepal.

Talking about it, Mishi Khan said, “I don’t understand whether we have a phobia or we lack self-respect. Our artists say we don’t promote hate, we spread love and we are peacekeepers. I know spreading love and peace is a good thing, but what’s with waving the Indian flag when they abuse or disrespect Pakistan? You stooped so low that an Indian fan threw a flag at you, and you held it and waved it. You were easily manipulated by the actions of Indian fans. You even wore it on your shoulder. You could have simply said ‘thank you’ and set it aside. If the same had been done by an Indian, they would have made him a symbol of karma, their singer would not do it thinking about the consequences. Haven’t you seen the tensions between our two nations? Promoting peace is good, but that doesn’t mean a Pakistani should wear and wave their flag. You always put so much effort into pleasing others, but you know you shouldn’t do that—it’s shameful.” Here is the link to the video:
Fans are appreciating Mishi Khan for schooling Talha Anjum and many are condemning and criticizing the singer for having no self respect. Read the comments:
