Mohra is Geo TV’s hit prime-time drama serial featuring popular actors Laiba Khan, Aagha Ali, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Syeda Tuba Anwar, and several other Pakistani stars. The story revolves around a simple girl who becomes revengeful after her sister Anoushay’s suicide, for which Sikandar, her secret husband, is responsible. The drama is produced by 7th Sky Entertainment, directed by Mohsin Mirza, and written by Tahir Nazeer.
So far, Geo TV has aired 45 episodes of the drama. Mohra initially gained a lot of attention due to its gripping storyline, but it is now facing severe public backlash because of the shift from the revenge plot to unnecessary conspiracies. In the latest episode, Hamza’s cold behavior towards Alizeh has also drawn criticism from viewers.
Fans aren’t happy with Hamza’s weak character, who, despite his claims of loving Alizeh, is now doubting her. One drama viewer wrote, “I Feel very bad for Alizay. Hamza can’t do this to her… where is his true love?” Another commented, “Don’t ruin Hamza’s character. He was trying to hit Alizeh and she fainted — very heartbreaking.” A viewer stated, “I fully support Alizay’s decision. Hamza is a very weak man, and the people in the house despise Alizay.
