Last month, Muneeb Butt was booked in a kidnapping case in which he was accused of arranging accommodation in Murree for travelers allegedly involved in fraudulent activities.
The verdict in Muneeb Butt’s kidnapping case has now been announced. The actor has been declared innocent, as no evidence was found against him. During an ATC Karachi hearing, the court ruled that Muneeb Butt was not involved in the case. He had been accused of arranging a residence in Murree for the suspects. The police submitted the case challan to the court along with the investigation details. Investigators found no evidence that the actor had provided shelter to suspects linked to a cryptocurrency robbery worth Rs. 2.494 million. The case, which involves the alleged abduction and robbery of complainant Muhammad Mutaal, is still under trial. Several suspects have been arrested, while others are either on bail or absconding.
