Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahin is a drama full of both hope and despair. It covers so many different aspects of human trafficking and does so while keeping the viewers engaged. All the tracks have been penned down brilliantly and Yumna’s performance impresses throughout.

Parizaad was another iconic drama serial in which Ahmed Ali Akbar and Yumna Zaidi made a remarkable comeback as an on-screen couple. Although the story primarily revolved around the male protagonist, Yumna Zaidi played one of the main female leads in the drama. She was always the hero in her story. The writer managed to show that and at the same time, the viewers got to watch the vulnerable and more human side of the character. Bakhtawar’s inner turmoil was always an important part of her story. The viewers were ‘shown’ her ups and downs in detail and not ‘told’ what she was going through. Yumna Zaidi definitely made the right choice when she decided to take up this challenging role. Bakhtawar proved to be another feather in Yumna Zaidi’s cap. It is definitely a drama that showcases Yumna Zaidi’s exceptional performance like no other.
