Nadia Jamil is an actress, activist and NLP coach who is a strong voice in Pakistan for children and oppressed. She started her activism for children publicly when the Kasur incident came on television. She was working for kids way before then and she is also a survivor of abuse who has turned into a thriver. She is a mom herself and she has seen a lot of health issues in her life.
Nadia was a guest at Masarrat Misbah’s show and she talked about basic ethics that she has taught her children and values she has strongly inculcated in their routines. She said that she has taught her kids to greet anyone with a Salam. They will say Salam to everyone they encounter especially people from the service industry like security guards. She said that teach your children this even if you have to ask them four times to say Salam as this is basic and important.
She also shared that exercise is very important for her. She has drilled in the minds of her sons to make exercise a part of their routines. She has also put her little daughter Noori in ballet classes to make her more athletic and as a person who was not too much into exercise, she thought this was important.
