Mitti De Bawa is a popular Pakistani drama currently airing on Green Entertainment. Directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain, written by Faiza Iftikhar, and produced by Tehreem Chaudhary and Nina Kashif, it features a stellar star cast including Mahira Khan, Wahaj Ali, Amar Khan, Junaid Khan, Syed Rambo, and many other talented actors. The drama is securing impressive views and TRP ratings while being widely reviewed by several prominent Pakistani celebrities across electronic and digital media.

Recently, Nasir Adeeb reviewed Mitti De Baway on the Voice of Click Me Pakistan podcast, hosted by Feroze Chaudhary. During the episode, he criticized Faiza Iftikhar for portraying a woman from a Sadaat (Syed) family in a negative light.

Addressing the writer, Nasir Adeeb said, ”I have one complaint with Faiza Iftikhar: she has portrayed a girl from a Syed family as flirtatious—someone who falls in love with everyone. On top of that, she drinks and smokes, and they named her Billo. She tried to break an image, but I believe it wasn’t needed at all.”

Referring to a controversial dialogue spoken by the character Bala—”Naseeb Khota Nikal Aye tey Khair hay, Zanani khoti Nikal Aye te ghaata he ghaata”—he added, ”I cannot accept the idea that women are inherently corrupt. No woman is inherently corrupt.” Watch here:
